3. No names here unfortunately but some of these people still walk amongst us in the industry and any time I have the chance I make their life miserable in any and all capacity possible

4. Unnamed firm deployed like three traders on their desk some of their orderflow was for their own retail product but clearly sometimes these guys just come in and start slugging deltas for no reason

5. We had done 100s of mm of business settled normally so credit concerns were not super of concern when one night one of the traders comes in and just starts lifting without question about 1500btc at the time like 11mm bucks high but not weird

6. This thing just immediatly goes against him like didn’t even have a chance to breathe instant in your face 5% and then continues to grind lower

7. So next day it’s against him about a million and a half bucks and we’re like let’s settle this up and he’s like need a day which fine not that weird let it go

8. Obviously he keeps asking for extensions and it becomes painfully clear he’s just ducking this and he’s praying to trade out of some of at least some of it

9. This goes on for about three weeks everyday shaking him down and him ducking us and we’d basically given up and were hammering their management now who was claiming he was a rogue trader and wasn’t their fault , they never booted him from chats though so that was odd

10. One morning a different guy Trader2 in that firm comes in to sell 350 btc specifically for EUR and he says it’s unrelated to Trader1 issues and the Jr guy next to me on the desk goes can you believe this guy coming to punch more without settling
