$BTC broke $15,000 today and the largest liq was around $6m contracts, on Mex bi-quarterlies of all places.

The call buying has been pretty aggressive for a long time tho. U could certainly argue those buyers are very incentivized to push spot price higher.
Yeah, my bad. I meant perpetuals. Options have definitely become extremely dominant (filthy vol sellers deserve what they get) And quarterlies/bi-quarterlies will always hold their significance for cash/carry trades.
