It'd be nice though if they tried harder to prevent rug pulls.
The speculators are here for money. The builders are here for money. One group is just more vocal about it. Literally all of DeFi revolves around financial incentives (as it should). Stop demonising one faction and glorifying the other. They're both essential to the ecosystem.

The problem is that the field is not levelled and yoy have schemes and favours being exchanged like in the real life high finance. I assumed that things would be a little different with the decentralized and permissionless approach.
