      You can do that actually. Keeps your original position up while expecting a bounce. Example short on FTX perp Long on futures

      If you think "ay that was the bounce", close long on futures or move stoploss up to lock in profits. Now if it keeps pumping, and lets say you get stopped out on your perp. Your futures trade can keep running
