if you expect a volatility explosion, why not be proactive instead of reactive?
I don't know what to expect, hence my stance. If there is a volatility explosion, I'd rather miss it than be on the wrong side of it.
this is why options will be huge. experienced traders like yourself can make +EV bets on volatility w/ minimal risk.
Yeah I'm not proficient enough w/ options to long volatility yet. It's something I plan on diving deep into. The closest thing right now I reckon is the MOVE contract on FTX.
