You can and I've been doing it. It's just that both are completely different styles not only in regards to technicals, but also the psychological aspects. Inevitably the psychology of one seeps into the other and that is not ideal.

Position Trade when there's a HTF Bias? (more than 1 PA swing, regardless of TTF) Scalp/Swing when there's no Bias? (1 PA swing, different terminology used to distinguish TTF only) ^ My approach anyway.
