Sure, but dollar cost averaging isn't a trading strategy, it's an investment strategy, so kind of makes it all moot saying you don't have invalidation criteria etc

Lately, the line between the two seems to have blurred on here. That's what I was referring to. Seeing a lot of people conflate working an area with DCAing. I'd still argue that as far as BTC is concerned, throwing a fixed amount of money every fixed interval is not ideal.
