Bitmex is a peer to peer exchange. Longs and shorts are always equal. What you see on coinfarm is a longs/shorts ratio of positions sourced from the trollbox. Next person to comment "hurr durr longs on Bitmex are so high" will be forced to watch a Tone Vays stream.

One thing that would be interesting to see is how much more one side is leveraged compared to the other.

Lovely! Totally forgot about this. Would be fun to create an algo bidding liquidation zones from recent range swing points. Perhaps after I finish the bitmex mobile app.
