what about year old gaps?There is a known account that insists all gaps will be filled eventually no matter what. I personally cannot understand this concept of unfilled price ranges since I dont expect the trade orders to have remained a place/not cancelled after all this time.

It’s about missing liquidity when you have a gap. Price will most of the times fill the gap to find the liquidity required on each price level. Similar with big moves on small volume. Eventually price will spend more time in that area. Not always.
