I understand that, but why would someone do something like that? And also, it inflates and deflates between 30 and 42k ETH.

2 possibilities: 1) someone wants to pump the price, possibly by trapping shorters; 2) someone wants to push people to buy into his/her sell orders. Is there a way to tell which it is?
