He probably just ignores them. The quantity of native English speakers that use for example 'it's' instead of 'its' and the other way around - is just frustrating. So, one has no choice but ignore them.

If you want to emphasise the frustration you can either 1) give it its own sentence 2) isolate the preceding clause using commas. Blindly slapping a dash there because “uhh errr the reader has to pause now, right?” is trash I’m dying on this hill, Luke
