Chardy, this is a pretty ignorant statement tbh. Agreed, placing them on a pedestal isn't the answer, but neither is outright ignoring them. Reverting back to a clean lifestyle is a herculean task (mentally and physically), the effort inherent in it deserves to be respected.

I didn't say ignoring them, just applauding them for acting normal, which they should of been in the first place. Have had first hand experience with drug users me how much they ruin people's lives around them, nothing to applaud of them for now acting like they should of already

Applauding them publicly is a societal reward and incentivizes drugusers to turn away from them, its absolutely moral imo

Agreed. It is more difficult to move away from a drug permanently, than to stay away from it having never touched it. Requires mammoth mental strength
