That's true for any oscillator, it's always a tradeoff b/w sensitivity and strike rate. Perhaps try accommodating volume somehow to filer the noise (or just look at volume based indicators in conjunction with price, re: divs, three drives, etc.)

Incorporating volume, such as by coding oscillators using EFI or CCI input, for example, has been useful to me in some cases.
