I don't doubt that. I'm just not a fan of an indicator that can remain overbought/oversold for long periods of time while price goes through 10% swings. Couldn't find a way to fit it into my system.

That’s just how oscillators are during strong trends, though, don’t you think? By their nature. As long as you have another indication of trend direction, I don’t find a temporarily flattened oscillator to be problematic.
