most likely deribit is only stable because of it's lack of liquidity
If the most liquid exchange is going to become unusable during every big move, it shouldn't be the most liquid. Despite being prescheduled, the timing wasn't ideal (Shorts ATH, ETF decision, etc)

If this was the first time, sure, no biggie. However, overload and downtime during every 4-5% move isn't ideal, particularly when you're the leading exchange.
