Yep. Taking a glance at D3, I see 3 consecutive red candles twice, 4 twice, 5 once or twice, and even possibly 6 once. On D3 we're currently at just 2... so yeah, we can go on to each time frame and probably find no meaningful correlation at all.

It usually is true, to be fair, but doesn't mean it stops a downtrend. You can drop (in BTC's case) $2000 over 8 days, then rally $200 on the 9th day, painting a green candle, then have another 5 consecutive days of red. I see it more as "observation" than "analysis"
