Those rallies were organized by Democrats and were all about venting steam. Otherwise they would have been held *before* election day, and *before* inauguration day, not after.
The left was far angrier right after the Trump election, with hundreds of thousands of people showing up for the Women's March and Stand for Science. And the upset of 2016 and now this year has pushed us, and our agenda, further left. They were necessary upsets needed to shake people to their core. I firmly believe, that when all this is said and done, we'll (we, being the left) have come out on top. Finally.

I'm in MD, registered Dems outnumber Reps more than 2-1 here. Even if there were 50% turnout for Dems, 66% for Reps, & 66% of indies were magically mind-controlled to vote Trump, Dems would still win nationally here. With FPTP, my vote is rather useless, except if its 3rd party.
