Shelter in place has to be initiated early on for it to be effective If it’s initiated after the rate of infection gets too high, it causes more harm than good ESPECIALLY in cities where a large % of the population lives in large apartment buildings...

Because once there is a high rate of infection, you are locking people inside together with the virus If viruses could like something, they would like to be indoors, not outdoors. They survive longer & are more easily spread indoors, than outside...
