In the hypercapitalist United States there are 607 billionaires. At the same time, 2/3rds of adults, 116 million(!) people struggle to pay their medical bills, or simply don't get the treatment they need.
Meanwhile, there are 74,000 fires in the Amazon, being set by the supporters and at the encouragement of a President, Jair Bolsonaro, who's surrounded by a coterie of advisers who push unsrestrained free market policies to loot the natural wealth of their country.
Capitalism didn’t put them poverty squirrel brain. Laziness, bad choices and a burdensome tax system did.

You can blame Obama for half of that. All those free stuff he handed out to us and other countries. But the Dems won’t double the deficit when socialism is in because we won’t get to keep our money.
Some people live in poverty, but what is poverty. It is an arbitrary number set by the fed's. A person who can "game" the welfare system, plus get paid "under the table" can do quite well. Better than working for many.
