#GreenNewDeal and@dennistrainorjr thinks it might have been you. I took it from@DrJillStein when she was running in 16 for my run for US Senate in CO as a Green. The country needs to give you a BIG HUGE if it was you. Thanks -
from Mark Dunlea. - Howie was the first with a GND plan in the US in 2010.. We then helped Jill with it. in 2012. But European Greens had it beginning in 2007 or so, which is where we got it. Media cites Tom Friedman using the phrase in 2008 in an column.

Jimmy Carter's energy policy also included a solar bank. 20% of our energy from renewables by the year 2000 90% of our homes insulated to higher standards by 1985. Of course, he also wanted to dig up the Rockies for shale oil too so there's always that.

We are a monetarily sovereign nation we can fund whatever we want without anything more than the appropriation of congress. AOC’s version of the Green New Deal would be exceptionally easy to fund because it’s missing 75% of the Green Party’s original policy.
