Yes college is a waste of time for many young people

The Free College given by Cuomo is a joke! @LarrySharpe proposes so much more for us and gives young people so many options to succeed in life!! He also has plans to help make college more affordable and help young people actually have JOBS!

The last two years of "high school" are instead spent on trade school, prep school, or kids actually going to college under his plan. College is not for everyone, so why are we going to give something for free that kids will take and then they'll just fail out anyway?

Because it is a waste of time, it’s not like when your generation went to college. I’m a college drop out and still managed to be a successful engineer without a degree.

Again, keep spending tax dollars. The rich wont give it to you. They have the money hidden in loop holes. Keep dreaming.

In Norway, a country In sure you would love to emulate, trade schools are very common because they recognize that college isn’t for everyone. Stop trying to put everyone in the same box.humans are different.

A waste of time for SOME young people. Making it free disrespects and degrades the value. Look what student loan subsidies have done to tuition prices. The inflation curve for college tuition has greatly outpaced the general inflation rate.
