Many already argue that MSM is an arm of the DNC and their product is defeating Trump at all costs. Some of those voices call for PBS and NPR to be defunded for just this reason. The market has spoken, why do they deserve a bailout?
You mean like NPR and PBS? Publicly funded is different than state controlled. We use public funds to promote culture. PBS/NPR are so much more than news. They educate, inspire, and inform American citizens about all sorts of topics. Especially topics that corporate media doesn't find "profitable" to cover. That's why defunding them is so unpopular. We need public ownership of our airwaves.
