    geez louise the script tracker in the obsidian dialogue editor is one of the greatest tools i've ever used. WHERE IS THIS SET? WHERE IS THIS CHECKED? boom, answered in 5 seconds and i can jump straight to every node directly to remove/adjust/fix anything i need to.

    So, I have a story about the Skyrim Intro and how hard game development is. That intro is famous now, but back then, it was just that one thing that we had to keep working and working on forever. I lost track of how many times I've seen that cart ride. Easily hundreds. (thread)

    Here's my payslip from 1988 when I was a senior programmer at Software Creations working on NES games - including Magic Johnson's Fast Break, Silver Surfer and Wolverine. I was taking home £130.75p per week after taxes/N.I. Equivalent to £9,300 gross per year.
