States like California that rely more on unreliable energy resources experience energy failures on a regular basis. Indeed, California residents experience blackouts on an ongoing, annual basis as the state fails to manage summer electricity demand and wildfire risks.

The irony here is Shut down my power 3 times this past season due to high winds.
The 30+ Solar panels on my roof worked perfectly, but because they are tied to the SCE GRID, they were Useless and shunting all that power.
I had to go buy a generator.

The power grip in CA did not fail! It is shut off in key areas to prevent wildfires! In TX however, that is what power grip failure looks like! Get your facts straight!
The unreliable part of CA's power grid comes from antiquated equipment & lack of maintenance by profit focused providers. It sure isn't from lack of sunshine for solar or wind for turbines. How much $ did they pay you 2 push their outdated agenda?
Yes, a big lie. What we should be doing is getting everyone on their own Uninterrupted Power Source. The gentleman who said his solar system worked but couldn't use them was stuck because he did not have his own UPS. Let's work on smarter solutions instead of ruining our planet.
Pretty sure substation failures and downed lines aren’t caused by wind and solar generation variability.
Good to know your committee likes to distribute disinformation.
Try operating in good faith sometime. It feels nice.
