Keystone XL destroys communities & the environment. Witnessing how Republicans were more concerned with the economy then they were of American lives it's plain to see that the GOP value the economic benefits of Keystone over it's detrimental toll on life & the environment.

Tar sands oil is thicker, more acidic than lighter conventional crude, and this ups the likelihood that a pipeline carrying it will leak. Complicating matters, leaks can be difficult to detect. And when the oil does spill, it is far more detrimental to sensitive water resources.
