1) What's the point of a cure if no one can afford it? 2) If Republicans really cared about medical research, they wouldn't propose to cut the NIH, which can discover cures without demanding billions in profit.

Please. Pharmaceutical companies are defunding research for new antibiotic and antiviral medications due to lack of profit. People will die because they can't afford their meds, and superbugs will evolve because you are allowing partisanship and profit to control the narrative.
