Can a pro-Fox / Hannity fan please explain why you’re cool with this. Not seeking an argument. I’m seeking understanding.https://twitter.com/mepfuller/status/956729170700259329 …
I’m pretty sure @scottjohnson has muted me, but I’ll take a stab. The very fact that Hannity is able to admit he was wrong strengthens his trust level with those who trust him. As bad as YOU view FOX news, most of their viewers see The NY Times as worse.

You do know that the NYT admits it is wrong too, right? And that there are many, many examples of Hannity not doing so?

I'm not going to do any pissing matches. I don't say that the folks that trust Hannity implicitly are right, I'm just giving an explanation. I tuned out the national level talking heads years ago because they were reflexive and boring like any other cheerleaders.

Thank you for sharing the explanation. It takes courage to do that when you know people are not going to agree with you.

If Sean Hannity was interested in the trust he would have done his homework before he got on air. He's not interested in that, Fox News is live brainwashing and Hannity needed to deny it just so the words could be said on air. His followers need that, even if he says he's wrong.
