My favorite genre of tech dude reply is the “you can’t comment on SF unless you live here”. I get this 100 times a day. Guys, San Francisco isn’t some exotic and inscrutable land it’s just another wildly unequal US city with a shitty racist local media and 8000 Whole Foodshttps://twitter.com/kane/status/1409680037532430338 …

Interesting how many of the most ardent supporter of
@chesaboudin live someplace other than San Francisco. Those of us who actually live here (37 years for me) know that his experiment in restorative justice has been an abject failure.5 replies 2 retweets 8 likes -

what does that have to do with the fact that his supporters live in SF, contrary to your statement

If you look at the Tweets on this chain alone, you will see that Chesa's most ardent supporters all seem to live somewhere else. He seems to be far more popular with the restorative justice crowd outside of San Francisco than with actual San Franciscans

dude absolutely no one cares what things seem like on twitter to you, you said something objectively incorrect and were corrected

I’m not sure if you are being obtuse or you really just don’t get it. He has supporters all over the country, but her in SF, he’s just not that popular. I don’t know how to make it any simpler than that.

neither or your original claims had anything to do with what you just said, cool man thanks for wasting everyone's time

The fact that I am arguing with a bunch of Chesa supporters who don’t live in San Francisco kind of illustrates my point.
