The Hong Kong Journalists Association is reportedly trying to persuade police to allow student journalists for university media, stuck inside PolyU, to leave the scene.

HKFP saw an incident in Jordan where police officers escorted a patient - possibly arrested - to an ambulance, and crowds tried to seize the patient. With police hiding in the ambulance, crowds tried to topple the vehicle, and police fired three live warning shots into the air.
