Kowloon Tong's Festival Walk has issued a statement outlining how the police came to storm the mall and make arrests on Sunday afternoon. Following the incident, the mall closed and a floor-by-floor search by medics and reporters took place hours later.pic.twitter.com/sCvKBvDgNV
Festival Walk said it refused riot police entry at around 2pm when pro-Beijing stores were first vandalised, as the mall received no prior notice and the vandalised shops had closed.
