Flights to/from China haven’t been completely cut off. The President’s proclamation bars anyone coming from China other than US citizens, legal perm residents, or their family members & they’re subject to quarantine. Basically, getting Americans home. It also allows cargo to flow

This article specifically says experts fear the virus is past the point of containment. To say that your actively working to keep it contained is in direct contradiction to your own CDC!!
