My point was that straight people aren't abused for being straight. Any attacking based on gender/creed/race/etc is equally inhumane.

If gay ppl can come up with pride day why can't straight ppl?

I'm proud of my new shoes but I'm not gonna have a day for it! The point is that this # undermines ppl who have suffered for who they are!

Today is also nationalhandshake day does that undermine people who prefer a fist bump. There's a national day for literally everything

Us=straight ppl. And I already have a reason twice. And today isn't gay pride day so I'm not at someone else's birthday party

LGBT members aren't oppressed either. Last I checked, they weren't hurt for their orientation in the U.S. and are treated equally by law.
