I got the tag line wrong. It was actually “Welcome to the Worlds of DC”. Still, my initial point remains 😊

Perhaps not, but it’s still better than the awful moniker “DCEU”. “Extended” makes no sense to me.

That was never official either. The only official moniker from WB was “DC Films” 😊

Can’t wait to hear all about your experience! My dream is to go with my sons when there a bit older!! Quite the journey for us being from New Hampshire! #SDCC1018

#WonderWoman1984 Not an ACTUAL sequel??? Surely the plan isn't to just pretend that the first movie never happened, and just ask the audience to, "just go with it".

Kinda funny that DC gets these names bandied onto their shared universe when WB themselves have not actually announced one yet, barring the whole DC Films division. And I don't think they really need to. DC Films and DCEU is fine enough.

They never came up with a marketing hook for the universe, they dropped the initial list of films in an investor call instead of a fan event.... The marketing fails in building this brand astonish me.

I was wondering about this because I read a screen rant piece and they basically said what you just said but there wasn't a press release quote or anything so it seemed misleading
