This is probably a stupid question but why do people use bit.ly links instead of regular links? It just makes the link more suspicious.

Interesting. Are there any information about if people won't click because "suspicious link" or do people just don't care?
I'm not sure, I'm so used to seeing and using Bitlys that I don't even think about it. Haven't had any issues yet!

it's just trial and error to see what works best for you. I used to use tinyurl but much prefer Bitly :)
