@SeaOfThieves @xboxuk Went on a voyage tonight for the event as a duo and was sunk over and over by different player ships. Is it possible to complete vaults with 2? We didn't even get to unlocking it before our key was stolen and then ship and any plunder lost. 
Oh noooo sounds like you got really unlucky! We've done many a vault as a duo but you do have to be extra careful. We usually sail as a 4 and sometimes leave someone out with the ship whilst the other 3 go in 
But that's only on particularly lively servers haha!

I think it was a busier night tonight. I just wish it did more to protect smaller groups if they are dying over and over. At least make ships show up on the map more often. Had enough trouble with skellys spawning and then gunpowder barrels popping in AS I swung my sword

Yeah it can be frustrating. The skelly barrels get me every time
Sloops are super nimble so you can usually outrun a bigger ship, but being on the run gets boring after a while
