I will have to dig into this. I transferred from Trezor to Coldcard but only the Btc in the segwit "account" showed up when I then exported the skeleton(?) file to electrum in order to create transactions etc.

Ignore that scammer in the thread above or below me here… Your correct though, once you imported your seed into your CC, you can export the .json skeleton (xpub) file into a software wallet to view funds and create PSBT to sign with you CC
