Probably make it a symmetric Effect like aoe is now. Desert Camel is a fair recruit card that saw a little bit of play. Make the pool very consistent and at a healthy mana cost. Lackey on recruiting demons 5 mana or less makes sense to me.
I’d agree with setting limits on it, which is one reason Oaken Summons is actually (legitimately) a fine card even if it’s proving extra value. 4 drops aren’t generally winning you the game.
