The persona series is one of the few JRPG series I've never touched. I know nothing about them though. Can I just jump into 5? Is there one held in a particularly high regard I should try?
5 is the best imo. 4 is also really good but it’s a ps2 game and some people can be put off from it. It’s a completely different story so you don’t need to know anything about the earlier games to hop into 5.

Persona 5 R is the “pokemon yellow” version of the game and it comes out at the end of March if you care about that. It’s going to be a full game price though and you can find persona 5 for $10-20 now. Its up to you which one you want but the original persona 5 is still 80hr game
