I'm trying to figure out why anyone should care about watching the Master's Tour tournaments and I'm really coming up with a blank. Blizzard is pushing this as a "Big Prize Pool Tournament", but when other tournaments have 1million plus prize pool who cares about $500,000?
One of the issues Blizzard talked about the previous tour stop format is that people didn't know why each tour stop mattered and I think that Master's Tour has the same problem. They can't push the angle of the winner makes it into Grandmasters (the pinnacle of HS esports).

They can't push that angle because the winner doesn't make it into Grandmasters. They swapped out points for money but they're both essentially the same as far as HS esports progression goes for an individual. You also have the issue of Grandmasters being in the tournament...

So if a Grandmaster wins the tournament then they just made a lot of money?
