Yea I get that perspective. I like the concept of a draw being possible in Mtg. It’s worth less points so it’s not in anyone’s best interest most of the time to drag it out.
I feel like round timers work a lot better when there’s someone physically there saying the times over. Blizzard are never going to build the round timer into the client and it’s going to be a logistical nightmare for the admins.

I agree a verbal announcement is easier, but we do have discord. Having someone say round starts / round is over isn’t that difficult. If we could do it with pen/paper and a clock for decades in Mtg there has to be a decent way to implement it without a client update.
There will be more on the players to follow procedures and etc, but any good system usually does unless it’s completely automated or forced in client.
