Are you saying that from experience or just looking at lists? Because I can't see what matchups Oaken Summons/Ironwood Golem help you in that I'd want to cut MCT, Starfall and Thalnos for.
I’ve only played Floop and mct when I’m running the maly + togwaggle list. It’s better against aggro than running small minions. Especially if you’re cutting howls you have very few ways of powering up spell stones.

Oh, my bad, I'm not playing the exact same list. Mine cuts Giggling Inventors for Howls (you don't need them) and Floop for Innervate.
