This card will be underrated but I think 6 drops that do little besides set up your game plan usually see play (Aya Blackpaw, post-nerf Kabal Lackey, Aluneth). Not as meta defining as Spiteful Summoner which is good.
I wouldn’t say it’s comparable to Aya since it doesn’t have the same board presence that Aya or even lackey has. Aluneth is sort of comparable but Aluneth is obviously stronger.

Sure, probably a notch below Aya once jades get ramped, but still could have a role to play in certain decks when you know you're getting a key spell. Also discovers Spreading Plague, Flamestrike, etc.
