It does nothing in game actually. It shows that hero power in the deck builder but the other 5 hero powers are the hero powers. Thematically it’s the red button on his mech suit that uses the hero power. Sorry for the confusing words.

Apparently the hero power changes to one of 5 options at the beginning of the turn. Always changes but to any of the other 4. My presumption is the opponent doesn't know which one it will be next turn so has to play around all 4, but will need confirmation on that.
