    hands up if you asked us recently for how long you should keep redirects in place! i have a concrete answer now: at least 1 year. (but try keeping them indefinitely if you can for your users).

    Another one of my sites has been hijacked via canonical URL. Somehow this guy is able to rank the hijacked pages in SERPs even though the proper canonical URLs are showing in GSC. The sites are both indexed, but the hijacked pages rank instead of the original ones.

    An entity is a specific person, place or thing. They often appear in text as nouns, and if they are named entities (or specific entities) are often capitalized as proper nouns. Google first started identifying them & adding entities to a Browsable Fact Repository. 1/2
