The system is rigged to keep you from actually accomplishing most of your goals - so reforming the system should be your number one goal. That requires getting more people on board who again probably want reform for slightly different reasons. That’s the real path.

You want to make progress toward a big policy goal that would improve people’s lives? Yelling at people probably won’t help. But building a coalition with people who are also suffering but might think a bit differently than you do might.

I agree with many left policy goals. My issues with much of the left are that they seem disinterested in building productive organizations, they attack people and turn them off, and they’re often more concerned with ideological battles than actually improving anyone’s real life.

I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law.
If people want less free speech, they will ask government to pass laws to that effect.
