@TeamYouTube when I upload a video the set quality is 480p? Whaaaaat and I have it set at 1080p was is this a thing?

Thanks for reaching out. Higher resolution availability may take a bit longer than usual. If you'd prefer to wait for HD quality, you can upload it as unlisted and then publish it once it is available. Hope this clarifies.

Hmm, got it. Could you share a few video URLs that you uploaded in the past at a resolution of 1080p but is only available at 480p after upload? This will help us look into the issue further. Keep us posted.

It’s not only available at 480p the videos are just set at that quality I can change it to 1080p but I shouldn’t have to it should alright be at 1080p

Thanks for the details. Are you talking about watching videos as a viewer? If yes, video quality adjusts according to your internet speed. While you can manually adjust the video quality, the video player will remember this setting for future playbacks. Hope this clarifies.
