I'm sure the Afghan military would have just given them back, had you asked, as it turned out they had no use for them. You had to be quick though, as the clearance sale took just 11 days.

That stuff was purchased with the idea that Afghan military, trained by us, would use it to defend themselves and their country. They did - for 11 days.🙄
