Raid wide flasking didn't start until Patchwerk (called Flaskwerk). Before that only tanks ever flasked, on Broodlord, Nefarian and Twins.

@HamletEJ Tanks absolutely had to flask on some bosses because their fully buffed HP pools weren't large enough to survive some attacks.

@HistoryCrafting@HamletEJ my favorite part of raid leading/MT'ing was sorting parties in TBC to optimize threat/DPS/mana regen.
