I recently came across a study indicating that vaccines reduced the risk of illness across the board but didn't save the link. I missed most of mine in childhood (still autistic, go figure) but make damn sure I'm UTD.

I have three kids...one child (she’s 20) is vaccine damaged..HPV linked to her Dysautonomia/POTS illness. That said, even *she* insists on vaccines! I have researched them, delayed some when kids were little, but they have all of them and will. Me and hubby too. Commons sense.

She was in the small 8% group to be ill from the HPV but it is what it is. A nightmare but vaccines work. Period.

Wow. I've never actually seen someone who has dealt with that who is still so supportive of vaccines. Awesome to see.

Unfortunately I’ve already seen them try to sidestep this by specifically blaming vaccines commonly given to older people e.g. high dose Fluzone, pneumococcal, shingles
(with no evidence at all of course).Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I think they are at pretty low risk of cancer and heart disease as well. Few hip replacements too. Your point?

His point is that anti-vaxxers pick and choose when to apply the tenet that correlation =\= causation.
