Just awful. 😒 Another unvaccinated child gets tetanus. TETANUS! 🤦‍♂️😡 The parents now see they were deceived...😔 But if anti-vaxxers have their way... ...there will be many more children suffering terrible diseases just like this poor little girl. 👎https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2019/07/13/toddler-contracts-rare-deadly-disease-after-falling-onto-park-bleachers-hilo/ …

I like that they call it a “rare” disease. It’s only rare when people are UTD on their vaccines. Tetanus is in the world, folks.

Poor kid, it's sad that the children have to suffer for their parents' ignorance.

In over 29 yrs of ICU medicine the only patient whose memory gives me #nightmares is the one who suffered for 8+ wks in the ICU with tetanus. She left the hospital after 3 mos of sheer hell & 5 more of PT. Kept room dark & quiet & infused enough valium to overdose a seal team

Yes, but the majority of cases as you mentioned were in people between the ages of 20 and 65. Were they vaccinated too? Do you have info in the vaccination status of those who got sick?
